This course is a basic overview of a large majority of the drive-train and mechanics of the basic automobile. It is intended as an aid to those seeking a career in the automotive industry. It is not intended to be a substitute for a college degree or course in automotive repair but, it will assist you in beginning a career in the automotive repair industry. The impact of this course will be increased by as much hands on contact you can have with an automobile to practice what is taught in each lesson. This course also assumes little to no prior knowledge about automotive repair.
Requirements
- It is recommended that you have a notebook and good organizational skills while taking notes as each course builds to additonal knowledge.
- It would enhance the students experience to be familiar with basic automotive terms(i.e. piston, valve, impact wrench)
