This course will teach you how to make your own Kaftan dress the easy way without using a commercial pattern.
On this course, you will learn how to:
take your own measurement,
determine how much fabric you need to make your dress,
calculate and add seam allowances,
use the specified measurement to draft your Kaftan dress using a Free Hand Manipulation method
cut the fabric, and
sew up a beautiful Kaftan dress from start to finish for yourself and even others
The Tools you will need include:
Sewing machine
Fabric
Scissors
Tailor's Chalk/ Fabric Marker,
Tape Measure
Interfacing (optional)
Contrasting fabric (optional)
Course Requirements:
You need a prior knowledge of how to use a sewing machine, to make straight stitches
You also need to know how to read a tape measure. On this course, I used imperial measurement (inches) but you can use metric measurement if you prefer.
