From breastfeeding to solids - Everything you need to know
- 4.3
Brief Introduction
Creating and maintaining a healthy relationship to food for your childrenDescription
This course was created to provide insight into how you can create and maintain a healthy relationship to food for your children. Nutrition starts not at birth, but during pregnancy. The food that a pregnant woman eats goes on to become the nutrients that a growing fetus will take and use as the building blocks for their body. From there a baby is born, and breastfeeding can be a tough and frustrating process. In this course we talk all about challenges, expectations, and way the pros and cons of breastfeeding.
The course then moves on to talk about the transition to solids from the breastfeeding or bottle feeding stage. This includes:
What you should feed your baby
When to transition
What to be cautious of
If you have any questions about the nutrition of children early in life, you will probably find the answer in this course, but if not you can write questions and Dr. Jeff Petroff will answer them promptly and thoroughly with evidence based, solid bottom line answers.
