Though not required, if you are a beginner, we recommend taking the "Getting Started on the Acoustic Guitar" course before taking this one.

Do you want to play powerful sounding notes on your acoustic guitar? Power chords are the answer. They are very easy to play and get you sounding awesome in very little time.

Welcome to the musendo acoustic guitar series. We use a simple but effective process by which you will learn a technique, then we will practice it along with you to building a strong foundation. Finally we will give you opportunities to play along with real music so you can show off your new skills!

All of the teaching material for our lessons was created by leading music pedagogues based off of curriculum used by the Sibelius Academy and other Finnish university music programs.

By the end of this course and with lots of practice, you should feel comfortable playing power chords which should help you to build a solid foundation to play very popular music.

A regular six string guitar is required for the course (acoustic preferred but electric will work too).
