The HauteSpot Networks level 1 wireless
training course is designed as an introductory course covering the
basic installation, configuration and use of our wireless networking
products. The course will cover the following topics:
Wireless Overview - The Wireless Overview topic covers general equipment description, installation, basic operating principles, various wireless design topologies, the capabilities of our equipment as well as some example installations.
Basic Equipment Installation - The Basic Equipment Installation topic will cover physical installation of the equipment using various methods, equipment connections/wiring including weather protection as well as surge protection.
Basic Antenna Installation and Alignment - The Basic Antenna Installation and Alignment topic will cover antenna type descriptions, antenna installation & alignment as well as antenna power optimization.
Initial Wireless Software Configurations - The Initial Wireless Software Configurations topic will cover the process for configuring our equipment software for use on the various topologies, changing various settings to work with any pre-existing wired network equipment as well as how to optimize the equipment for use in high interference environments.
Additionally, the course also includes demo videos on initial configuration and a “Troubleshooting guide”. The initial configuration demo video shows how to configure our units to connect to one another. The Troubleshooting topic will cover the most common questions we receive about our equipment. We have included a Troubleshooting demo video on how to resolve software configuration issues as well as antenna optimization issues.
Upon completion of the course, the student should feel comfortable installing our equipment, configuring our software to create an effective wireless network of various topologies, enabling wireless transmission of data.
