The Logical Framework Approach (LFA) has been a key tool for development professionals for decades, but is a source of confusion for many. More than just a box-filling exercise, it's an approach designed to create projects that get the best outcomes possible for target groups and project beneficiaries. Donors like them, too.
The Log Frame also makes the project results explicit and demonstrates how we will measure them at each level. It also looks at external factors - our Assumptions - to give us a 'logic' that demonstrates how the project connects with the wider society.
