Are you embarrassed by your own piano because it sounds out of tune? Does your piano have one particular sour note that seems to be in nearly every song you try to play? Did you know that you can fix that sour note yourself without calling an expensive professional? This course demonstrates what causes a piano to sound out of tune, and gives instruction on how to fix it yourself. You will be introduced to the basic principles of an acoustic piano, how the strings can go out of tune, and specifically what you need to do in order to tune that sour note yourself.

- The student will need to acquire a piano tuning hammer (long-handled socket wrench) and a rubber wedge mute.
