Brief Introduction
Create you own original painting on a Mat Board and learn the simple steps to Colour Matching!Description
This course is for students who have taken watercolour classes previously and not afraid to sketch! After this class, be adventurous and try one of your own photographs! Bev will explain 'how to' colour match with watercolours according to a photograph. She will also explain 'how to' create your own colour mixing chart with the watercolour paints that you already have.
Learn how to colour-match to any photo reference, creating a watercolour work of art!
Teacher available for any questions during and after this course. She would love to see your original paintings.
Students will receive 2 hours of video supported with written and verbal step-by-step instructions
At the end of this course, you will have a beautiful, final masterpiece "Cone flowers" to be proud of!

- This course challenges artists to use photography with watercolours. A Mat board (with a pre-cut opening) will have a photograph inserted. The artist will sketch and colour matched with watercolours onto the mat.
- Students need to purchase or acquire watercolour supplies such as paints, brushes, and paper. Supply list on Lecture One
- Student should purchase a customize pre-cut Acid free mat board with at least 3 inches perimeter available for painting.
- Optional: Student may use their own photograph or use photographs provided by teacher.
- Artists who would like to expand their watercolour techniques to another medium.
- Students should be able to print the resource guide, photo and transfer references.
